Get Ready Visit PublicAlerts.org to learn and prepare yourself for local emergencies.
Get Involved Support your neighborhood by volunteering to be a Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) member. During a citywide or regional emergency such as a severe winter storm, flood, or major earthquake, volunteer neighborhood rescuers will likely be first on-the-scene when firefighters and police are slowed by impassable streets or overwhelmed by calls for help.

Overview

Welcome to the Grant Park NET! Started in 2016, we are eager to help and welcome new volunteers.

You do not have to complete NET training to attend and participate in meetings. If you are interested in getting officially trained, we’re happy to help you make that happen. Also, if you are interested in preparedness but aren’t able to participate in the NET, there are still plenty of ways to get involved.

Meetings

We usually meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Please   contact us to confirm the time and location if you’re interested in joining us.
