Under consrtuction.

Make your content accessible with the help of City-approved vendors:

Do you communicate digitally with the public (social media, websites, reports, etc.)? As a local city government, we are required to make our communications accessible for all audiences, including people who use screen-readers and other assistive technologies.  It is easier than ever to make our content more accessible for people with disabilities using two City-wide price agreements with vendors who specialize in this work.

Document and web accessibility

The Viscardi Center is available to assist City staff in remediating Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, PDF files, web content and more to make them more accessible to people with disabilities.

Pricing depends on the complexity of the project; the price for remediating Word documents, PowerPoint Presentations, and PDF files ranges from $1.75 to $4.09 per page.

Pricing is $70 per hour for testing web content for accessibility and reporting
