New to NET?

Get Ready Visit PublicAlerts.org to learn and prepare yourself for local emergencies.
Get Involved Support your neighborhood by volunteering to be a Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) member. During a citywide or regional emergency such as a severe winter storm, flood, or major earthquake, volunteer neighborhood rescuers will likely be first on-the-scene when firefighters and police are slowed by impassable streets or overwhelmed by calls for help.

Overview

The Richmond NET is an active and growing team. Please join us in making our neighborhood more resilient!

We serve the area from SE 29th Ave to SE 52nd Ave and from Hawthorne to Powell. Current projects include: neighborhood preparedness outreach, stocking our supply cache, training, and regular exercises to rehearse our disaster response plans.

Meetings

We meet on the fourth Monday of every month at 7:30pm. Please contact us for details. Prospective NET members, supportive neighbors, and anyone who may volunteer to help in a disaster are welcome to meet the team and learn more about what we do.
