A kitchen sink could be equipped with a double or single bowl. They can be used for cleaning and washing similar materials within the kitchen. Although with a double bowl sink, washing is completed in one bowl and rinse in the other. There are also Low Divide sinks that has the look of a single-bowl but can be used to serve as an extra bowl sink.
