Larry retooled the Basic NET Training Disaster Psychology unit for us based on his research and experience as a nurse and EMT with Nehalem Fire & Rescue, and in disaster responses where he deploys with the American Red Cross. As one of two qualified master instructors in the U.S.A., in 2023 Larry was tapped to travel to Vietnam to launch the countrywide training program for professional medical first responders. His expertise and dedication is a shining example of NETs contributing their talents to this work, and we are lucky to have him in our instructor corps.</div>

When he took that job, he quickly demonstrated his commitment to community resilience by learning as much as he could about the BEECN and NET program, including taking Basic NET Training himself.
