|Larry Wiedenhoft, RN/BSN, EMT is a longtime NET volunteer (2013) and master trainer who has educated hundreds of NETs and other community members in life-saving medical skills ranging from Basic NET Training to Wilderness First Aid. Larry also retooled the Basic NET Training Disaster Psychology unit for us based on his research and experience as a nurse and EMT with Nehalem Fire & Rescue, and in disaster responses where he deploys with the American Red Cross. Larry was recently recruited by to launch Vietnam’s countrywide training program for professional medical first responders. His expertise and dedication is a shining example of NETs contributing their talents to this work, and we are lucky to have him in our instructor corps.

|Tony is the Emergency Management Coordinator for Portland Parks & Recreation. When he took that job, he quickly demonstrated his commitment to community resilience by learning as much as he could about the BEECN and NET program. He has been an instrumental bureau partner in getting Parks to support NET exercises such as the Citywide Disaster Exercise (CDE).
