WHAT do PBEM Volunteers Do?

Count of Basic NET Classes

Type: Output, Measurement

Dashboard Locations: TBA

Available date range: Q2 1994 - present

Description: This is a count of each Basic NET class completed.

Source: The records for this measurement go back to the first class in 1994, via hard copy attendance sheets (and later, MS Excel-based tracking sheets and scans of dated sign in sheets). Sum of Volunteer Hours Logged as Basic NET Training

Type: Output, Measurement

Dashboard Locations: TBA

Available date range: Q1 2013 - present

Description: This is the sum of all hours logged by volunteers in Basic NET Training activities. In quarterly data pulls, Basic NET Training activities may be labeled as:

Refresher training
Mandatory reporter for child and elder abuse
Independent study (associated with Basic NET Training)
Unit 8
Unit 9

Source: Volunteers initially logged BNT hours when the Volgistics system was available starting in 2013, and continued when PBEM switched over to MyImpact. BNT hours are often underreported (particularly in earlier years) because new recruits are getting acclimated to using software they haven't used before.

Update procedure: Added to datasheets manually from quarterly data pulls out of MIP: Hours by Activity.
