New to NET?

Get Ready Visit PublicAlerts.org to learn and prepare yourself for local emergencies.
Get Involved Support your neighborhood by volunteering to be a Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) member. During a citywide or regional emergency such as a severe winter storm, flood, or major earthquake, volunteer neighborhood rescuers will likely be first on-the-scene when firefighters and police are slowed by impassable streets or overwhelmed by calls for help.

Overview

Welcome! We are volunteers who are invested in supporting fellow neighbors and community partners in building preparedness, education, and resilience – both before and in the event of an emergency.

We would love to have you join us. You do not have to complete NET training in order to attend and participate in meetings. If you are interested in getting officially trained, we’re happy to help you make that happen.

Meeting Schedule

We meet every third Thursday at 7pm at Pacific Crest School, 116 NE 29th Avenue. Enter the lunchroom from the east door off the parking lot; you can see the meeting space through the windows.
