Please do not email PBEM to request news, because we are busy coordinating storm response not only for your training, but for the city as a whole. Saturday, 01/20

The forecast indicates no additional ice accumulation for Portland, and melting has begun, gradually. Segment C will proceed in-person as scheduled Saturday. Of course, anyone who feels unsafe traveling in the morning should stay home and either reschedule for the 01/28 Segment C in MIP, or wait for announcement of a future cohort. An email follow-up was sent to Trainees registered for this weekend on Friday, 01/19 at 16:53; please check spam/junk if you did not receive it. Registration is closed to new participants, but enrollees may change their registration until 24 hours before class.

Sunday, 01/21

Segment A will proceed in-person as scheduled. An email follow-up will be sent to registered Trainees, probably on Friday 01/18. Registration is closed to new participants, but enrollees may change their registration until 24 hours before class.

Saturday, 01/27

Segment B will proceed in-person as scheduled. Registration is closed to new participants, but enrollees may change their registration until 24 hours before class.

Sunday, 01/28

Segment C will proceed in-person as scheduled. Registration is closed to new participants, but enrollees may change their registration until 24 hours before class.

Saturday, 02/03

The Final Field Exercise will proceed in-person as scheduled. Registration is closed to new participants, but enrollees may change their registration until 24 hours before class.

Sunday, 02/04

The Final Field Exercise will proceed in-person as scheduled. Registration is closed to new participants, but enrollees may change their registration until 24 hours before class.

Past Updates

Saturday, 01/13 Saturday's class was interrupted at 1000 for all-hands PBEM response to the storm. I will email today's participants as soon as possible about options for resuming at a future date. If you can join in-person 01/21, please sign up for that session in MIP. Registration is closed to new participants, but enrollees may join the class.

Sunday, 01/14 Segment B was canceled Sunday for all-hands PBEM response to the storm. Trainees may switch to the 01/27 in-person session in MIP, if that suits your schedule. If not, stay tuned for an update via email this week about other rescheduling options.
