As resources allow (and sometimes they don't), PBEM can assist NETs with neighborhood outreach through a mass mailed postcard (or "postcard drop"). By this outreach method, PBEM mails out a postcard to every address inside a designated area. However, the PBEM budget does constrain how a postcard is designed and how many get mailed. Teams should also have a clear idea of when they want the postcard to land, and use that target date to develop a design and printing timeline.
Postcard Design Constraints
Though these have varied in the past, the current rules for postcard design are as follows:
- Size: Postcard size should be set to half sheet size at 8.5" x 5.5" or a standard postcard layout of 5.5" x 4.25".
