Disasterville! is an interactive hands-on tabletop game that sparks team discussions, helps refresh knowledge, and is useful for preparedness education and recruitment. The game was developed and produced by the National CERT Association. PBEM owns a copy that teams are encouraged to borrow.

Loans

Terms

Loans are typically for a period of around two months, give or take. That seems to be the sweet spot for someone on a team to learn how to play, then for the team to meet twice to actually play it.

Requests

Any Team Leader (or their designee) may put a hold on Disasterville! for loan to your team using this form: https://pbem.link/disasterville. See the borrowing queue for an idea of when you can plan to receive it.

Logistics

A team should plan in advance to hand over the game directly to the next team. That saves everyone round trips to the ECC.

When you receive the game, please notify PBEM, and we will provide you with the next person's email address. Please give them as much advance notice as possible about passing it along, so that they can plan their own meetings.
