All are welcome to join this group. Some of the group members are trained by the Portland Bureau of Emergency Management (PBEM) as Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) responders. Anyone can take this training, and you can sign up for the free training [https://www.portlandoregon.gov/pbem/58587 here].<br /> <br /> = We Need Your Help =<br /> <br /> There are over 12,000 people (as of 2010) in our three neighborhoods. That’s a lot of people – far too many for our team (currently ~15) to help if a disaster strikes. We need everyone to participate in making our community more resilient. Our goal is to have neighbors organize and prepare block-by-block, and we’re here to help you do that.
